Yeah, typical! The best day in the last month comes right in the middle of dead week for me...not only that, but I have a track workout on top of everything else. Awesome. Oh well...nine days and counting for me! Then I'm outta school and into some serious riding. Cant wait!!!!

Hope everyone had a killer session today...definitely what we needed after all that rain. Have fun guys...

Yeah, awesome session today, and after tomorrow those fishermen won't have anything left to bitch about. Good to see the regular crew again. Laughing

I got a few hours of the north wind, but not at Sauvies. I went to Sunset Beach. It was good 11m (on a big directional) and head high. after a while, the clouds pushed in a little bit and the wind backed off. Also was a little bit too onshore -- typical for sunset. Not an epic day, but more fun than work. I was hoping to go to Newport, but didn't get an early enough start for the long drive.

Yeah, what a day. People started out with their largest kites,21, 20, 19, and be the end of the session, some had pumped 3 kites to adjust for the strong winds.

Fun to see the SI out in force, some with new toy/gear.

KiteKarl: Your wrong about the fishman, they will be bitching long after the season is over which ends tonight at 12 midnight. I bet that fishman is going to be even more hostile today and I will address that in up-coming post--I spoke with irrate fishmen after my session.
