Bored? Rode at Nehalem bay on Saturday. Bit gusty, 9-25, but fun to get out finally. Real nice spot though. |

9-25, that is gusty, but I would have loved to be there... Forecast for Florida is not looking too keen. |

where is Nehalem bay? is that on the coast? what was the wind direction?

Yeah, it was low tide when we got there and rising. At high tide the lauch would be challenging. It's located in Manzanita, go to Nehalem Bay state park. $3 with bathrooms, just park next to the boat launch. Winds were from the south and side onshore. I guess the winds are more dependable when there's consistent SW's. |
