I won't make it this year for health reasons but checking the cam just now, the prairie appears to be DEEEEEEEP!

Who's going to get after it?!

Hey TBR, there used to be a way to link straight to the Pine Turnoff cam but now it seems you have to find it on the map. Checking just now, it's showing SE 16-19 which = some snowtanic gloroptic sweetness.

Is this popular enough to just show up and find kiters out there on most windy days? Or is there a group that coordinates ride days together?

I have family in the area and really want to do this but I'd be solo and am looking for a group to join up with or someone who could give me a proper intro to the spot.

Last I checked there was a group on Yahoo. For unknown reasons the Camas seems less popular. I went last year and only saw one other Boise family show up to kite the entire 3 days I was there.

Best chances to run into others would be at Malcombsen's Snopark, Pine street turn off or Last Chance on an East wind day. There's not much too it. You park, rig, and ride.
