Takuma Kujira foil kit complete:
Carbon 1210 front foil Carbon
- This is 1210 cm2 projected area which is actually about a 1500 cm2 of most other foils)
Tail Stabilizer 178
Aluminum Fuse 70 cm
Aluminum Mast 85 cm
Hardware: Screws & mast track nuts
The foils have minor scratches, no significant dings or deformations.
Skill levels may be from beginner to intermediate (depending on rider weight).
The interface of the fuselage has been set by the former owner who is an expert in the foil composites industry. He used the resin potting technique so it may not be easy to separate the front wing from the fuselage in the case if someday you want to swap out the front foil.
To that, I have ridden the next step in the performance chain (Takuma 1080) and found it only slightly more maneuverable, but has less glide & needs a bit more power & technique to get on plane. IMO there is not much benefit up to that upgrade step vs going to the 980.
I see this 1210 foil system as a nice complete package of a modern single step kit before transitioning into a high aspect foil system.
The pricing is set low to compensate for the possible difficulty in separating the front foil from the fuselage.
The foil is located in The Gorge. Oregon
Price: $525
