Sun Jun 09, 24 9:06 pm OT: DIY pickleball court? |
|
|
I know some of you members have built your own pickleball courts, and I'm researching the costs and techniques. The official "safe" size is 30'x60' and I've identified where I could pour what I'm hoping will be an concrete RV pad that doubles as a court. I haven't called anyone for quotes yet for just the pad (I've researched coating options).
Thoughts? Experiences?

Well if you weren’t getting a multi-use out of the pad, I’d tell you to just go buy a ping pong table; keep the pickle in the jar. From an opinionated tennis player.

"Tennis has been Canceled"
"If it were any easier, it'd be called Pickleball"
...and so on.

Start with the pad, but add thickened footers out at the perimeter. Leverage that into a 30x60 metal building.
Garage, shop, indoor pickleball and basketball, roller hockey, and big screen. A real man cave.

Thanks! Yes, I know it will be an overpriced kite drying facility.
