Did everyone see that NW Weather is firing up early. This weather has everyone stoked out of control!!!
George is more optomistic for SI this weekend than NOAA (which is typical I guess). Would so love to grab an island sesh after work today!! I'm ready (finally) with a big ol 20M!
I felt the warn N wind last night in my back yard for the first time in a while. It was the N7 that kicked up about 6 last night.
BRING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey, I was thinking it would be fun to organize a day for everyone to bring BBQs down to SI with famlies and all. Maybe the kite widows can form a support group and meet at SI whenever it's windy and bring beers.

Sweet!! NWWeather back in action this early is just awesome.
I love the SI BBQ idea, we brought a small propane grill down last year and cooked up some sausages. I don't think anything can taste better than one of those on the beach after a nice Sauvies sesh.
I'm tempted to believe the SI forecast from George, but he is always super optimistic for there. Also the east wind is going, and I found it rare that SI goes when the east wind is strong. We'll have to see, anyway you slice it, this weekend is looking awesome.  |
