Anyone sell any used kites at the Windance Swap Meet ?

Got rid of the last of my old windsurfing gear at the swap on Sunday.
(carbon boom, extension, misc pads, straps)

Practically gave away a 10 year old kayak (Frankenstein)
got rid of a 10 year old snowboard too.

Used kites were at rock bottom prices and not moving.

Where are all the newbies getting used kites ?

I know. I sold 1 kite and was glad. Older, higher aspect kites are especially tough because newbies have been told they are 'advanced' kites. If they only knew that X2's are the greatest, well, except for my new Torches.

All in all, pretty lame swap for windance, plus Brian tagged me for the "walk-in" fee. Oh well, guess I can pay a little somethin for all those year of using their bathroom and weather checks on their computer..

Next months swap should be better.

have to agree, this swap was pretty lame. the conditions didn't help, no wind, clouds and rain the day before were a real bummer.

i had one or two people look at my kite but, mostly i sold old windsufing gear.

hopefully the may one will be better.

Should see a bunch of folks from Canada at this one
since that weekend is the Victoria Day Holiday.
