Just a quick note for everyone with the water being very low currently. There is a dead head about 2 feet under water in the location of the black circle. I was low riding wing foiling and just saw it at the last minute. No issues for me, but I was surprised by the location. I didn’t think I was that close. Keep an eye out everyone.

That’s just the area that there is a submerged deadhead when the water level is low.

| In case you didn't know, there are also two deadheads right off the west edge of the sandbar (where everyone launches) and north of the rocky peninsula that is sometimes submerged. They were both visible last week with the really low water but may be lurking just below the surface now.

| On another note, what do you use for tracking your "mileage"? I see you are using Strava, but what are you using hardware wise... garmin, apple watch or ?

I use an Apple Watch Ultra for strava. it seems to work pretty well except I don’t believe the max speeds it shows.

I use an Apple Watch as well (non-Ultra) with Waterspeed which exports your session to Strava. There's a function in the app to remove speed spikes which will take out those moments you went flying through the air at 25+ knots because you accidentally sent the kite the wrong way (which of course never happens to me  ). Thanks to this I think it gives you at least ballpark accurate max speed. There is of course a small fee to have Waterspeed fully functional.
